The family moved to Clapton, London around 1896.
Sidney worked as a clerk.
He was inclined to mix up the order of his names on the various documentation.
There is a bit of a mystery as in 1901 Louisa was living alone with the children at 104 Roding Road, Hackney stating that she was married. Sidney Ernest Charles was calling himself Charles and living with Elizabeth saying they were both married, with two children, at 79 Redweld Road, Hackney.
When Sidney died on 4.7.1932 at Worthing Hospital he and his 'wife', Elizabeth Jane, were living at 1 Howard Terrace, West Street, Worthing. His occupation was given as retired luggage porter. It's not clear if he eventually married Elizabeth or just ran off with her and set up home.
Elizabeth appear to have had two children in 1901 but these could be Elizabeth’s children and not Charles’.
